Yeah, I'd buy it again ... but

This isn't a bad book if you know nothing about touring bicycles. However, if you have already searched the internet then the book becomes a nicely organized set of notes. Which alone may be worth the price to you. I looked for my "free video bonus material" and found nothing. I used the web site to send an email about this and received no reply. Also, I know little about bikes but I think the section on group sets is a bit dated. Lastly, the copy I received was a bit worn looking. I would have rated it a used copy in very good shape with a few bends to cover and pages. Hmm. For the price I can't complain but here I am doing just that. I would have given it 4 stars if I had figured out how to receive the bonus video material and if the book itself arrived in better condition. With all my griping I would still recommend this book to anyone new to touring as the 86 pages are a quick read and will soon have you motivated to step into a bike shop and explore further. After all ... this is about adventure isn't it?
