Before I bought this book I was having trouble learning the Korean alphabet and understanding how the Korean language works. Although, it has only been a short time, I am now able recognize most of the sounds in the Korean alphabet without having to keep checking. I recognize some words at first glance and have seen my comprehension in reading and listening improve. I find myself remembering new words more easily.

Long awaited

In the grand scheme of things, the literature of the 1890s has a cultural weight that the modest means and ambitions of it writers cannot bare. If you like it, you like it and if you like it this is a welcome edition to your library. The book can actually be read without the worry of damaging a valuable first edition. The book itself? If you like Wise Blood by Flannery O'Conner you'll like this. It's a good book. Read it.

Stanley H. Cath, M.D., is Medical Director of the Family Advisory SErvice and Treatment Center, Belmont, Massachusetts.  A faculty member of the Boston University School of Medicine and the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute, he was formerly Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry, Tufts University School of Medicine.

Alan Gurwitt, M.D., is Lecturer, Cambridge Hospital, Harvard University and Associate Clinical Professor, Yale Child Study Center.  He is a faculty member of the Western New England Institute for Psychoanalysis and the Hartford Child Psychiatry Training Consortium.

Linda Gunsberg, Ph.D., is a graduate of the New York University Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis.  A member of the Editorial Board of the journal Psychoanalytic Inquiry, she is in private practice in New York City.
